FEST PRO - a week of Networking, masterclasses, conferences and debates guided by established professionals from the cinema and audiovisual sector welcomes Temple Clark, Tomas Eskilsson and Michał Łuka - the first names on 2022 program.
Between the 21st and the 26th of June, they will present important considerations and share their knowledge on story boarding, future of public financing and cutting-edge cinematography.
Temple Clark - Storyboarding for FILM and TV
Temple Clark is one of the most in- demand Storyboard artists in the film industry, with more than 100 feature films including Spectre, The Imitation Game, Gravity, Cold Mountain, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
He has worked directly with directors such as Alfonso Cuaron, Anthony Minghella, Stephen Frears, Oliver Stone, Chris Columbus, Sam Mendes, Simon Curtis, and many others. He has also worked on many television commercials.
Temple is the artist behind FEST 2022 official image - based on The Birth of Venus.
Tomas Eskilsson - the study Public Finance at the Crossroads
omas Eskillson is founder and CEO at Film i Väst - the Scandinavia’s major regional film fund and one of the biggest in Europe. He will unveil findings from a pan- European study currently being prepared, titled Public Finance at the Crossroads.
During the last 25 years, Film i Väst has co-produced close to 775 feature films. Some examples are: Dancer in the Dark and Melancholia (Lars von Trier), The Hunt (Thomas Vinterberg), Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (Niels Arden Oplev) and most recently four time EFA- award and Oscar winner Another Round (Thomas Vinterberg) and The Worst Person in The World (Joachim Trier).
MICHAŁ ŁUKA - cutting-edge cinematography
Michał Łuka is an experienced director of photography for both commercial and cinematic projects. He specializes in advanced cinematography techniques for CGI and VFX productions.
Michał worked on Netflix’s animated miniseries The Liberator (dir. Grzegorz Jonkajtys), created using the new and unique Trioscope technique. He shot the feature drama Prime Time (dir. Jakub Piątek), which premiered during World Cinema Dramatic competition at the Sundance Film Festival 2021. ITTEFAQ (dir. Abhay Chopra) and the feature-length documentary, Call me Tony received important distinctions.
