With the conclusion of FEST’s 18th edition, all the winners of the festival’s various competitions have been revealed.
In the Golden Lynx competition, in the fiction category, the jury consisted of Spanish director Ainhoa Rodriguez, American actress and agent Caprice Crawford, and Portuguese actor Miguel Nunes.
For the Golden and Silver Lynx awards in the documentary category, FEST asked Alberto Valverde and the Croatic critic Nino Kovacic to judge the films in competition. In Silver Lynx’s fiction category, on the other hand, the jury was Portuguese programmer Luísa Alvão, and the Belgians Meltse Van Collie and Niels Putman.
The British academic Christopher Nunn and the Polish director Tomek Popakul were responsible for the election of the winners in the National Grand Prix and the experimental category of the Silver Lynx competition.
As for FEST’s student film competition, NEXXT, the festival asked director Rubén Sevivas and programmer Tiago Santos, both Portuguese, to judge.
The winning films of our Silver Lynx and Gold Lynx competitions will be screened this monday, June 27th, at Centro Multimeios de Espinho’s Auditorium.
