In the winter, in Himalaya, a bear does not manage to fall asleep. He thinks too much and is in the doldrums. Suddenly a white monkey suggests him to go and eat some honey at his aunt’s house, to help him change his state of mind. A beautiful winter night opens as they realize that the bear is fortunate after all, and he should not have fallen asleep at all. Belgium artist Lia Bertels builds a wonderful sleepy forest universe with a delightful mixture of shadows and blue tones, that are bound to take you into a dreamy realm that is as welcoming as it is seductive, in a film that has much more to offer then it may seem at first.
