Souvenir Souvenir has won 8 nominations and 4 awards, including Best Short Film at the Sundance Festival and Best Animation at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. It explores the director Bastien Dubois’ relationship with his grandfather as he tries for 10 long years to make a movie out of the old man’s souvenirs from when he was a soldier during the war between France and Algeria.
