On Hold is based on anonymous phone calls dialed for a helpline for young men under 20. On a free and raw tone it brings the topic of the construction of masculinity to the table and questions the heritage of these power structures and the kind of relationships it results from them. Laura Rantanen raises the alarm about a sick society, while holding accountable the actors who have become invisible over time.
