The Womb is an exploration of grief, the ways people lead with the aftermath of losing a loved one. After her mother dies, Diana escapes to a place called “The Womb” in the Portuguese countryside. Here, patients meditate in an unusual birthing sac. Although her family reached out in support, Diana insists on grieving alone. But in this new strange place, she meets an older woman who helps her overcome her numbness and confront the mixed feelings of losing a mother.
