Synopsis

Chen Yu, 29 years old, a Chinese screenwriter-to-be who just quits her job to chase her dream. Just like every “good girl” has to make several breakthroughs to really grow up, Yu, the girl who almost has a “fixed and unchangeable” life, decides to start her career as a screenwriter.
Pierre LEBLANC,50 years old, a French forgotten ex-actor. He was noticed by a well-known director when he was 18 and finally had a chance to play his first leading role of film Saudade when he was 40. Pierre made a bet with everything, but the film stopped halfway. He was completely desperate and decided not to act in any film from then on. Now, 10 years passed, the film will be relaunched.
The two meet at a lonesome train station after a film festival. Both facing the crossroad of their own lives, the excited new writer starts to “write” her first story, and the man who plays a supporting role for his whole life gets the first leading role with hesitance.
