Roman Coppola is coming to FEST - Training Ground.
The Screenwriter, Director and Producer is notably known for co-writing alongside Wes Anderson, on Anderson's "Moonrise Kingdom (2012)" which got them nominated for an Academy Award, a Writers Guild of America Award and a BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay.
He co-wrote and produced "The Darjeeling Limited" (2012) and more recently co-wrote 2017's "Isle of Dogs", both also directed by Wes Anderson. His most recent feature as director and writer was "A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III" (2012), starring Charlie Sheen, Bill Murray, and Jason Schwartzman.
Mr. Coppola grew up in the world of film making, and has developed his directing skills by working in multiple capacities – from sound recordist to cinematographer, from writer and producer, to inventor. In his Masterclass, Roman Coppola will approach his work and life in film.
