Premiering today, Miles Joris-Peyrafitte's As You Are a film that as surprised the juri in Sundance (9 PM || Auditório Centro Multimeios). At 11.15 PM, 8:30, the work of Laura Nasmyth, will take us on a journey through contemporary day-to-day routines (11.15 PM, Casino Espinho).

ED LACHMAN: THROUGH THE LENS: A DOP PERSPECTIVE . 6 PM . Auditório Multimeios

Ed Lachman is one of the most notorious DOPs of our generation. During this session he will share his experience with the participants, talking about what has he learnt during his career, what does he enjoy the most, what are the challenges and how does he overcame obstacles, both in specific situations during a shooting or in general in the film business.

Nuno Lopes is one of the most prolific Portuguese actors and the past year saw a much deserved international recognition, with the actor winning several awards as well as critic acclaim. On this Q&A, Nuno Lopes will give some insight on his experience as he answers the questions of the audience.

On this session Richard Morrison will be sharing with the participants one of his passions – which has been over many years the creative design, production and delivery of Title Sequences for Movies & TV.

Every year FEST selects one or more countries that we believe are hosting a new generation of directors. On this year's edition apart from the greek new scene, we are overlooking Iran, a country that has been, in the last years, feeding the indie cinema scene. Lined up for this special session under the advise of are: the family perspective of the war between Iran and Iraq of The War We Weren’t, a love storie hidden in miniatures by The Role of each Tone, a narrative about the feeling of belonging in The Tree, the misadventures of a group of youngsters trying to break into a an easy paying life of Slaughter House and the impacts of climate change in The Memories of a Lake
